The documentation isn't complete because TOM ran out of time to write them. He's a programmer, and not a technical writer. As time progresses, he'll add to the documentation, and hopefully have it all done very soon.
TOM plans to provide printed and bound copies of the documentation for a small fee when the documentation is complete. He'll probably try to provide the documentation in a PDF, too, but only if he can find a cheap or free PDF distiller. Contact him if you know of any good ones that deal well with HTML. Note that the FAQ will not be provided!
This is no guarantee that printed docs will ever be available, though. It may prove to be infeasible. If the documentation is printed, the fee will be the cost of paper, binding, and postage.
TOM and Ayourk no longer support running the client on Mac OS 9 or lower. If you are using Mac OS X, you can use the client. Just grab the binary or the sources, and follow the directions as if you were running a version of unix.
ANSI colors are cool. You should use them. You should also customize them. That's enough said.
